It's what you know....

We seem to have lost what the center is in this country and I am not sure we can find it again with out a "great" leader coming forward. The election upcoming doesn't seem to offer the hope of any change. Then just what is the center and how can you build on what needs to be done, I can't seem to understand the fear and worry on the right and the fear and worry on the left. Each seem to be on a course to control the other, yet that action is what get each side to move to the poles of there positions. Thus nothing get moved in the common direction, to the good of the people. It seem to be the heart of this country is "We the People" and we aren't heading that way on any front and there is no hope in the near future.

I have lost my way....

Up is down and I am not even sure about left or right.

Things are going so wrong and yet the Christmas season is early this year as stocks tumble. I whine at the sound of Christmas music and holiday TV ads.

I find myself liking Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich for President. Reading Paul Krugman to find I have missed a lot of what is going on, and hoping Naomi Wolf is wrong about her 10 steps.

Karen Armstrong is a thoughtful writer about religion, yet never gets any press for her even handed work, and Hitchens and D'Souza get the spotlight with their best sellers which are anything but even handed.

It what sells that counts now a days, perhaps it's not the lawyers, but the marketers.

Which reminds me I have to go to the mall, I have coupons!

History is a funny thing, you should learn from it, but it can also send mixed messages.

Both could be right, yet there really must a third way not tried. We are not listening to the changes in the world and we continue to stumble along at our own peril.

Mars Rovers just keep on going!

In a world that never seems to work the way we wish, those Mars Rovers just keep doing their job. I wish many of the items I buy worked as well as the Rovers have so far.

It sort of gives you hope the things will work out here on earth, if we could just set our minds on the problem and work it together. That is the real trick isn't it.

Unless we can get over ourselves on many issues, things like the Rovers will be few and far between, which will be sad indeed.

And so it begins!

What do you think? I am tired of all the various battles over who is going to be the top dog. Who is right and who is wrong, with the differences being so small.

I am reminded today as I read the news and comments, of the war between the little people in Gulliver's Travels, just which end of the egg will it be.
